Hello everyone! Hope everything's fine and good. Its been such a good week for me as I have been busy preparing for my next post for the Blog. Books and pens, makes me so happy. A new post on my makeup essentials, coming up soon on the Blog. Lately, I have been searching for a nice eye cream that solves most of the eye area problems, that I think, many people go through in their mid 20s. I have been noticing a lot of eye puffiness, dark circles and fine lines around the eye area. But, I couldn't find myself a solution for 3 long months. And then, while browsing through the e-catalogue of Oriflame for the April month, I came across Optimals Seeing is Believing Multi Benefits Eye Cream from Oriflame Cosmetics. Eye cream was a necessity for me as I have been sleep deprived, most of the time recently. This often results in eye puffiness, dark circles, fine lines and innumerable consequences. The area around the eyes is very much sensitive and hence, requires special care. I opte

Its been a crazy week so far and I have been enjoying the weather here in Kolkata after the scorching summer heat - as it is raining ! The temperature levels have lowered down and the bengal population is in relief now. Like, a lot more. I haven't posted anything about sharing a look and a breakup of the makeup lately. So, I thought, maybe I can write about Smokey eyes that most women find difficult to create. It is a very easy procedure but following the technique is the most important task here. And when it comes to pairing a smokey eye with a hot red lip, a bong can never go wrong with the whole look. Let us read some more. Smokey eyes and red lips - The classic timeless look that has got no definition. Smokeys and red lips are a classy combination that suits almost all Indian skin tones. The correct trick is to attentively blend the colors, understand the shape of your eyes, using good makeup brushes (most importantly, correct shapes of brushes) and knowing the art of blending

Sreenanda Shankar is the Founder of Makeover Madness, a Danseause, a Makeover Consultant and an Actor of the brilliant bengali short film, The Third Eye. If you haven't watched it yet, go to YouTube and watch that soon. It has already made its place in the International Film Festival of South Asia, Toronto. Know how powerful the film is? Leave a feedback after you finish watching it. Sreenanda has always h

Hello all! It has been a crazy week so far as I have been writing lots of posts and preparing the contents of it for hours at night. I have recently been writing on food, some traditional Indian clothing and other things. But, I was wondering if I could write on statement earrings that, many of us do not prefer wearing them even now. There are many Indian women, who still thinks that they aren't capable enough to look good where the reality is, they are in their best versions, when I see them in traditionals and other statement accessories. Talking about accessories and Indian Jewellery, the Hyderabadi Nizams and the Mughals have been well known for their artistic designs, unique artisans, their meenakari work and their commendable effort. Thanks to History ! Many neckpieces and earrings have created a well known place in the books of Indian History and other articles. One such piece is the very popular 'Chaandbaalis' - as we all call it. Chaandbaalis are originated from

Hello readers! ❤ It has been a very busy weekend and I have been enjoying celebrating Mother's Day and Rabindra Jayanti together on May 8th, 2016. Rabindra Jayanti has always been very close to my heart. Being born and brought up in a traditional Indian Bengali family meant all about non vegetarian food, sweets, rabindra sangeet, sarees, mainly Bengal Handloom Sarees. Saree - The term itself gives us all, a hint of Elegance. It is such a customary Indian Wear that symbolizes a character of Womanhood. In India, there are various events and celebrations where Women and young girls, drape themselves in different styles, colors and designs of sarees. Gone are the days when one's wear were only constrained to western outfits in gatherings and formal parties. Nowadays, sarees are turning out to be very well knownin kitty gatherings or be it birthday parties. Or be it a dinner supper with the associates or an euphoric weekend party with your companions - a saree can never ever go wr

MY FOOD SWINGS.

Hello all you beautiful people! I know I didn't write for a while now but I wanted to post something different and interesting today, for all of us who are reading this post. I want to thank all of you who takes their time out from their busy schedules and makes a point to read all my blog posts. So Thankyou ! And please keep reading :) A minute ago, while you were reading this, I have mentioned that I wanted to post something different and interesting today. I wanted to write something about my food swings that I often go through. Trust me, I completely do. At times, I feel like I want to know, what it feels like, to have two whole roasted chicken with vegetable salad and some mint seasonings to go with it, for a day, all by myself? Sounds crazy I know because many foodies would fathom, that I have either gone mad or I am completely weird. 😂 Okay. Back to what I wanted to say. Many people do not know, what Porridge is! In India, many people would name it 'Daalia'. I w
